How to delete your Stayager account
Stayager LLC · Updated November 1, 2026
Delete your account yourself
You can delete your Stayager account at any time. You'll be asked to confirm it's you before anything is deleted.
- In the Stayager phone app: open More, then Delete my account.
- On the web: sign in at app.stayager.com, open Settings, then Sign-in and security, then Delete my account.
If you run a workspace
If you're the only admin of a workspace that has other people in it, you choose what happens to it in the same step: pick a teammate to take over as admin (they get an email), or close the workspace for everyone by typing its name. A workspace where you're the only person closes with your account. A paid plan has to end before its workspace can close.
What gets deleted
Your name, email address, phone numbers, photo, Google and Apple sign-in links, passkeys, two-step sign-in methods and trusted devices are removed, and you're signed out everywhere. We send a last email to your old address to confirm it's done. Copies in our encrypted backups are removed as those backups expire, within 13 months.
What a company keeps
Work you did for a company, such as finished jobs, notes and messages, belongs to that company and stays in its records, no longer linked to your name or contact details. Billing, tax and security records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Can't sign in?
Email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm it's you and reply within 45 days, usually much sooner. You can also ask us to delete some of your data without closing your account.
